TintedByBen – Terms and Conditions

 

These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between TintedByBen (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the customer (referred to as “you” or “your”) for all window tinting services provided. By booking a service with us, you agree to the following terms:

 

1. General Terms

 

1.1. All bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment. The deposit amount will be deducted from the final balance.

1.2. The remaining balance must be paid in full upon completion of the service.

1.3. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to, vehicle condition or legal compliance concerns.

 

2. Window Tinting Regulations

 

2.1. We comply with UK window tinting laws, which state:

    •    Front windscreen: Must allow at least 75% light transmission.

•    Front side windows: Must allow at least 70% light transmission.

•    Rear windows & rear windscreen: No legal limit applies.

 

2.2. We will advise you on legal compliance, but it is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle meets legal requirements. We are not liable for any fines, penalties, or legal issues resulting from non-compliant tints.

 

3. Warranty & Aftercare

 

3.1. We offer a lifetime ownership warranty on our window tints against bubbling, peeling, and fading under normal use.

3.2. The warranty does not cover:

•    Damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper cleaning, or external factors.

•    Tint peeling due to rolling windows down within 14 days of installation.

•    Glass breakage or defroster damage.

 

3.3. Aftercare Instructions:

•    Do not roll windows down for 14 days after tinting.

•    Clean windows with a non-ammonia-based cleaner and a soft cloth.

•    Allow up to between 4-6 weeks for full curing; minor haze or water bubbles will disappear depending on the time of year.

 

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

 

4.1. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a rescheduled appointment if at least 24 hours’ notice is given.

4.2. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the loss of deposit.

 

5. Liability & Damage

 

5.1. We take great care when working on your vehicle, but we are not responsible for:

 

    •    Pre-existing damage to glass, trims, or seals.

•    Electrical faults (e.g., window motors, defrosters) unrelated to our work.

5.2. We will inspect the vehicle before and after tinting. If damage is identified before work starts, we will notify you immediately.

 

6. Customer Satisfaction & Complaints

 

6.1. If you are unhappy with the tint installation, you must inform us within 7 days for us to assess and rectify the issue.

6.2. Refunds are not provided unless a major fault occurs that cannot be rectified.

 

7. Changes to Terms

 

7.1. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
